Cognitive Diversity
A group of unique interdisciplinary thinkers joined a working session for Forbes Ignite around advancing cognitive diversity in the workplace, including neuroscientists, a musical director, a military officer, a business coach, data visualization artists, and more. Of all the dimensions of diversity, cognitive diversity - the different ways people think and approach problems - is perhaps the most under-discussed and mysterious. We conducted an experiment and partnered with talent assessment firm, pymetrics, which uses scientifically validated games to understand thinking styles along both neurological and psychological dimensions.
