Dubai WTC

Project overview

We worked with the Dubai World Trade Center (WTC) and the AI Everything Conference, the largest AI conference in the world, to unite executives, technologists, and more to determine ways to give women in the Middle East more dynamic career paths in technology. Through a series of intimate, design-thinking sessions, we collaborated with valuable speakers and thought leaders. The result was deeper engagement and insights for our client and the Forbes Ignite Impact Fellowship for Women in AI and healthcare. The launch of the fellowship was supported by knowledge partners McKinsey and QuantumBlack.

Project approach

Our inaugural fellowship, in Spring of 2021, brought together women of diverse backgrounds, expertise and seniority to learn from one another while solving global challenges. Over 12 weeks, the participants not only collaborated through design thinking, together with a panel of global experts, to propose tangible solutions to 6 global healthcare challenges using machine learning. The process formed lifelong bonds, grounded participants in design thinking and AI while building interdisciplinary skills, and resulted in new career trajectories.
